I'm sick of people with multiple accounts.

A new starter with us today just asked me where a good coffee shop around here was. I told him the kitchen

Seriously dude, we're in the CBD. Take the elevator downstairs and you'll find a tonne of them in every food court FFS. You think someone who'd move to Sydney from Melbourne would know food courts contain plenty of coffee shops in and around them FFS. In fact, during his induction tour this morning, the guy who inducted him took through one food court to get to another.

He didn't ask for a coffee shop. He asked for a good coffee shop. Did you ever think that maybe he wanted a locals opinion on a shop that sells good coffee.

I'm pretty stoked with how the boys played, just sucks to see them drop a game to a controversial decision again.

Thought we were gonna get rolled tbh, Semi v Fonua was always gonna be carnage.

Ok, this has to be it. Surely.....suuurreelllyyy....the worst month of my life (as far as everything going wrong at once) is over and things can return to some form of normality.

Bring on the normal, or whatever passes as normal for me.

poor depleted Storm missing a couple of SOO players

try playing with about 15 or 16 players missing from your squad and having your team selected by the NRL salary cap auditor

Hopefully it should be fine from here. Just one of those things where everything happens at once and it puts you on edge a bit waiting for the next thing to go wrong.

1) Variant of shingles/chicken pox activated and attacked my right eye. Needles, laser, 2 weeks in hospital and will still have blurred vision in that eye for probably 3-4 more weeks (on tablets for six months).

2) Didn't tell my parents until a week in hospital because 2 days before they flew to NZ to basically say goodbye to nana who is in a home with dementia and now they've discovered she has cancer.

3) Get out of hospital, turn on computer, power supply blows. fix power supply only to find out SSD drive and disk drive blew with it. Basically had to buy a new system I couldn't afford due to reason 1 effecting the money I could earn during that period.

All up things could have been much worse, but this past month has had that "stop the train, want to get off" feel about it.

jebus mate.. that's a rough trot.. can understand why you're feeling shite.. on the plus side, you're on the road to recovery.. and in a little while you'll be looking back on this as just a blip..

i always find in moments like these best thing is to just focus on the little enjoyable things ahead.. like say origin tomorrow, or this weekend's footy..
