No prick goes out Sundays anymore. It used to be a decent night, particularly because a lot of hospitality/retail guys have Mondays off around the place. But it's too expensive to go out in general now anyway, and there was no incentive to give any drinks promos etc to get people out on Sunday when you have to pay penalties and the local govt keeps taxing clubs and pubs literally to death.

But yes, it is fking cold this weekend :lol:

grew up there, hated the place, got the hell out as soon as i could..

after a few trips back there in the past year, seeing how it has changed and evolved, I'm starting to like it..

This has really bummed me. The local Sutho one was brilliant; awesome range, great location, friendly staff - I really enjoyed going there. To now have to go back to IGA because they'll now be Coles is... f**king depressing.

They were always going to do it tough. Still, they had great produce and a lot to offer and I thought they were doing well. A real shame

I could easily live here should I get this job. 2.5 hours from the snow would be great, and it still isnt far from home really.

After a number of years away, I return to repping in Canberra from the 29th June, BOOM!

Yeah, I went to their one at Sans Souci. Awesome range, great meat + veg both on quality and price, and some hard to find bits + pieces from around the place. There are already 2 Woolies and 1 Coles in the area, plus an Aldi but no IGA or other independent supermarket, so if you want something different you're boned. Plus the butchers in the area are either entirely super cheap tough cuts of meat that taste like shoes or super premium dry aged cuts that require a small mortgage to get one piece of meat. Best butcher nearby is in Mascot. Veg shop around the corner isn't too bad though.
