Yeah. Spending the night in, was actually at the baseball last night though. Its where a bit of looting is being reported today.

Freddy Gray was a career crim and a lousy person by all reports, but nobody deserves to go like that.

We live about a kilometre away from where the very isolated incidents of looting are happening. Our apartment block is very large with a fair mix of people, and we live on a higher floor. It could be a long night for security staff in the city area though.

There's looting just a few blocks from our place. Monitoring the police radio and twitter. BPD is just channeling the looters with as few arrests as possible to avoid inflaming the whole thing.

The protesters themselves are peaceful and well behaved near city hall, nowhere near the problem.

That's a very complicated answer you're looking for. Short: No.
Long: Kind of, depending on where you live and how you look and how you react when confronted with law enforcement. To be fair to the Baltimore Police Dept, they handled themselves with a great deal of restraint and professionalism tonight while being spat on and attacked.

That being said, if people hadn't ended up dead in their custody this would never have happened in the first place. It's a long story involving families and communities with very difficult situations and no easy answer.
