Should have just bent over and accepted it.
Don't blame the broncos for fighting it - why wouldn't you? Nothing to lose (especially when the player is retiring).

I think it's a poor, poor decision from the MRC, which unfortunately has happened a few times in the last few weeks. Player getting dropped on their head should be a suspension, regardless of who the player who made the tackle is.

Some of the Broncos fans on the main board are tools. A nice reminder of my dislike for that particular club (although, in fairness, they're playing the best football I've seen from them in a long time, pleasure to watch the play between Hunt and Milford in recent weeks).

Thinking of calling our new car "White Pride". Because "Crystal Pearl Self Respect" just doesn't roll off the tongue.

The same can be said about any club tbh.

At the end of the day, our club captain got off and has been given one last opportunity to go out in style. Any other sets of fans would behave the same way.

Disgraceful that Hodges got off and if I were the Roosers I'd be reprimanding Guerra, tbh. I don't care if he jumped or not, he was put in a dangerous position by a tackler.

You get the impression that the MRC should be divorced from the ARLC and elected by magistrates from the court system.

To not even get a week is disgraceful.

Although the lack of consistency is alarming, and Hodges less than stellar record probably should have seen him get a week... I'm generally in favour of less suspensions. I don't think suspending people for accidents actually achieves any purpose or makes similar incidents less likely in future. And they certainly don't help the victim or the opposition team.

Rugby League has cleaned up a lot since the bad old days, there's always going to be some bad looking play in a contact sport though. I'd be in favour of lower suspensions and more use of the bin/send off. Also in favour of suspended sentences or some system that gets people off minor suspensions for rep games or semi finals.

I like kungl's ideas.

I'd rather suspend for contrary conduct like stupid wrestling etc...

Suspend for deliberate acts, repeated misconduct, or if there's a specific epidemic of a certain kind of tackle.

Tbf it's basically what they do now except I'd lower the weeks on the less severe charges and use the bin more.

On a side note. Twitter is so f**king shit for actually discussing anything. It's just a bunch of people yelling their opinion as loud and repeatedly as they can with no room for nuanced discussion.
