My brother was reminiscing about $1 beers at happy hour. $10 is all you needed for a night.

When I first turned 18 there were $2 beers in Cooneys in Wollongong, that was pretty great on Wednesdays.

Or $3 at the patch for every beer if you were a student.

Steeler at 5 beers and a steak for $15 back then as well.

My work has only just gone up to $5.10 for New/Draught/VB/Old, $5.30 for Coopers/Superdry, which is not too bad. Was under $5 for everything at the start of the year

It's cruel, really. The one thing I need to stomach being in Australia and they make it too expensive for me to afford more than 2-3 in a sitting.

Went to Coogee Pavillion last night, was pretty good. Downstairs area was chaotic but nice, Loved being near a window and having that beach view.
