Just frustrated that only 3 out of 13 people who said they were coming to my housewarming actually fronted up. Two of them were a couple, and the third was so late we had left to go to the local club to watch the BBL and try to win meat trays.

Ah, that's pretty shitty of them. Hate it when you put in effort to organise something and everybody flakes.

yup agree... if i've accepted an invite, i'll turn up unless it's a case of sickness or something massive has come up. and even then there's a call to apologise.

if someone has been kind enough to offer you an invite and you accept it, it's just common manners to turn up as the host will have gone to effort and expense for you.


actually one thing i admire about SMBN (and there is only one thing..) is that when he's invited to something, he's generally first one there, right on start time.
