watching chappie, waiting for hugh jackman to come out with "shrimp on the barbie" soon. Why cant movie makers understand that we actually speak fluent english

Really interesting film though...

I wish actual kids learned that quickly.

It's 10pm. Mini SMBN has been sitting on the pot since 5pm and really needs to drop a log, but simply won't because they want to drop it in a nappy.

This standoff is insane.

We are potty training our 3 at the moment, 1 of them is a jet, the other 2 just piss wherever they please, it seems as soon as they sit on the potty they get stage fright and nothing comes out, 2 minutes later you slip over on the tiles from toddler piss.

Has anyone written cover letters before?

I can't believe I've reached the cusp of thirty avoiding this. These things suck. I've never actually applied for a job before, I usually just get them through other people. I hate having to write in some smarmy tone about how qualified, or not qualified I am. They're ruining my Summer of George.

copied a few templates, change personal details and who to etc. Add a few things site/location related so it sounds like a robot hasn't written it. Some really good ones online for my job description so was pretty easy

Applying for jobs is an incredibly miserable experience, so glad I have something lined up for next year and no longer have to worry about it.
