This Trump-Hitler hype is funny. Trump is a lunatic, but he has appealed to middle class America and outside his racist and insular "foreign policy" and immigration ideas is actually the more "Liberal" of the two major conservatives. He actually supports an overhaul of healthcare, more stringent background checks for gun ownership, and surprisingly is not a warmonger...despite obviously jingoistic immigration and foreign policy ideas he opposes the involvement of US troops in several major conflicts. He's as pro-LGBT as a Republican candidate could possibly be, being essentially neutral on the subject
Ted Cruz is everything Trump is accused of being, with the added bonus of being a die-hard Christian nut case. He doesn't believe rape is a thing and would ban abortions even for rape victims, is a vocal supporter of the Patriot Act and doesn't believe in public freedom, he opposes LGBT pride marches (let alone marriage ffs), he would absolutely destroy the US health care system, he's every bit as hardline as Trump on immigration (despite being a f**king Canuck) and basically supports invading the entirety of earth.
Hopefully neither get elected, but honestly, Trump isn't half as bad as people make him out to be. He's just a racist who makes inflammatory comments.
