In all honesty...emo is such a sh*t word. I don't think there's such a thing as "emo" music, I think it's just a simple way for people to label stuff they dislike. The variation in what I've heard called emo is just geniused...

It used to be a legit genre within the broader sphere of punk, basically an underground scene. Then sort of around 03/04/05 a watered down commercial version of it took over the definition and it became a commercialised whinier and (funnily enough) "more emotional" version of pop punk. The kids that would have been "Goths" had this not happened became "Emos" instead. Now it's basically just a label for anything that has sh*tty whiney vocals.

Happens to most genres though.

The time machine is fuelled by booze and video games. It should successfully carry me to the trial games in february.

As for running, I don't mind it/am good at it when its for footy or competitive purposes. But running by itself bores the sh*t out of me and I find excuses to dog it after about 10 minutes.
