Oi guys.

What's your thoughts on beeping the horn in a carpark to alert another car what they're doing is wrong? Rude or right?

I very rarely beep my horn. I figure my attention is better served trying to avoid the guy driving like a genius than making loud noises

In this scenario, somebody was sitting in their car in a car park with their door open in the vacant car park space. After waiting awhile for her to close, the horn was beeped to alert her.

Apparently that was the wrong way to go about it.

If you're closer enough to just politely ask by shouting out the window, that's a better way.

Reserve the horn for people who are doing 20 or 30kmh below the limit on high-speed roads.

I only beep my horn if someone is getting too close or if the lights are green with no sign of movement...
