I laugh at anyone for trying to limit what is discussed in superthread. Deal with it nerds.

Aussies look uninspired. Saffers look uninspired. A draw if I've ever seen one

I think BunniesMan just tried to troll me

Lol...the "Saffa Smasher" who got 5 against them in the A game?? Hughes has a hell of a lot to prove, after a pretty unremarkable County season and a few decent knocks for SA he's certainly not back in Test consideration yet.

Should have picked Doolan over Quiney, 161 against the Jaarpies in the A game so he knows how to play them
Phil Hughes 115 v RSA. 1st innings of the 2nd test of the 2009 series:

Phil Hughes 160 v RSA. 2nd innings of the same test:

Youngest player in Test history to score 2 centuries in a test. And he did it away against the best attack in the world.

3 career test centuries. I've predicted he'll get 30 by the time he's done, 27 to go. When Cowan and Quiney fail in this test Hughes will be picked in the 2nd and Steyn and co will be having nightmares as they think back to 2009.

And Bazal, Hughes is averageing 100 in 50 over cricket since the end of last summer, thats across 12 games including 4 occassions where he carried the bat. He's the biggest batting talent in the country. And I'm sick of us picking mediocrity ahead of him.

Why is 2009 relevant in 2012? If you want to bring up the past, take into account his mind bendingly awful series against NZ of all the nuffies. And why is ODD form relevant to test matches? Phil Hughes, bowled for 5 Aus A v SA 2012...

I think our biggest problem is finding bowlers who can take wickets against the Saffers at the moment...

it's just not enough to be considered the leading idiot in NRL discussions, you want to be the very best in all sports, don't you?
