Off to Lianyungang (home of the legendary Monkey King or Monkey from Monkey Magic) for the weekend. Going to climb a mountain, walk through a waterfall, eat delicious fresh seafood and hopefully see some students I worked with earlier this year.

What's everybody else up to?

Don't forget to fly on a cloud while you fight an eternal ninja battle with your sworn nemesis!

I'm just at work today. Harvest on Sunday though!

I'll do what I can.The place is a tad cheesy with tame monkeys on hand to pose with - but still quite beautiful on a misty day. I've already been once haha

AlwaysGreen's fascinating facts: Masako Natsume, the woman who played Tribitaka on Monkey died of leukemia at just 27 :(

Yeah, I thought so. I used to chat with the guy who played Bulk (of Bulk and Skull) back in my Myth II days. He said she was by far the nicest of the Power Ranger crew.

I used to get home from school, dig into the seemingly endless supply of white chocolate cooking chips, and watch me a bit of Power Rangers and Dinosaurs.

When I was a lad we never had your fancy cartoon shows. We were forced out into the opressive sunlight (without sunscreen) and made to create our own entertainment.

I was already too old for Power Rangers when it came along. My younger brother idolised that show though.

I was more of a TMNT/Trapdoor/Bangers & Mash kid.

have never been as excited as when i saw my first colour tv to be honest. Black and white was now a thing of the past, but then they took away 1 and 2 cent pieces and that meant the death of 1 cent lollies :(
