Disagree. Clarke's ball was hitting quite high, perfectly understandable he thought it might be going over. Mind you, I don't think the decision to review should be with the players. There is a 3rd umpire in the box. Allow him to initiate a review if he thinks there may be an issue.
I don't think the third umpire watches the game in that way. I think on field umpires should get to review if ever they are unsure and I don't think players should be allowed to question the authority of the umpires at all, it sends a bad message to kids playing the game and it is not how sports are supposed to be played. The umpire is always right, even when he's wrong and it is bad conduct to challenge the umpire, itdoesn't sit right with me that challenging the umpires is now a part of the rules
I like what I think Geoff Lawson was saying today (or maybe Geoff Lawson going off someones text). Just check each lbw
- did it pitch outside leg/did it hit outside the line
- was there an inside edge
These can both be seen without the use of ball tracking technology and ensures the absolute howlers are removed, whilst removing the tactical review.
Yeah, because the usual tripe Friends and Seinfeld re-runs that they play in lieu of the cricket are so much better
Seinfelds a great show, especially season 2 IMO, has some great stuff.
Got a bit crap after season 7, and season 5-7 the tone of the show changed a bit but at its observational best was very good. Friends is crap though
HIMYM is teh 2nd best show on TV currently tbh. Behind Modern Family.
Cant comment on Modern Family, HIMYM is crap though.
Big Bang Theory is woeful though. It's not a smart comedy, it's a comedy that uses a fairly average stereotype of smart people. Garbage.
Best comedies of recent times include Peep Show, The Thick of It, Arrested Development (excited for its return), Inbetweeners and Black Books. Curb your Enthusiasm, Flight of the Conchords , Outnumbers and IT Crowd have their moments as well.
