I usually get between 600-650km out of a full tank in my kizashi. The display in it says it does 8.5L/100km

The artist I want won't be able to ink me until July, I have booked a consultation with him for next week can't wait to see how he's going to adapt the design. Based on his reviews he's worth the wait.

Holy crap man I have a 6 cylinder AU2 fairmont and I average around 13.9L/100km either you have severe lead footitis or there is a drastic problem with your car.

The car is currently having having its head checked out. Hoping like f**k it's just the gasket. I believe problems with the head can bugger up fuel economy. I would have parted with car long ago if not for the fact we're still paying off the personal loan we used to buy it.

Mazda 323 (2001 Protege, 1.8l) does 550k to a tank usually. I think it's a 50l tank, but I may be wrong and it might have a 55l tank. Does a lot of driving so I have to fill it up every week to 10 days.

I did get 800k on one tank once. Did Sutherland to Ulla Dulla to Canberra and back to Sutherland with only one refuel in a day.

I am guessing it is an ea to el series falcon then, as the head problems were sorted out for the AU's and on. I did the head gasket on 2 of my EF's my son's Eb and Brothers EL it is an alarmingly common problem for them. if it is indeed the gasket make sure they replace it with a metal AU gasket so it doesn't happen again.

that fuel economy is terrible mate.

Did you pop the radiator cap and start the car and see if you were getting bubbles in the water?

You can also pull your oil cap off and see if there's a white like waxy slime on the underside of the cap, either of those is an indicator of a cracked gasket/head.

I have a nice 68 litre tank, which at 17L/100km (V8 mileage from a straight 6), gets me about 350km before I have to fill up (I try to never use the last bit in the tank). Useless f**ken Ford.

My V8 Calais does roughly the same.

Refuel every Sunday, unless I have somewhere to take my car on weekends.

Like this weekend. Wedding ceremony at Mt Annan Botanical Gardens, then reception in Bankstown.
