I stopped being a BM fan when he agreed with shoulder charge banning. Then I instantly remembered he's wrong about every single Rugby League related matter ever.

Was just at the pub with an ex, and her hot friend who I like. You know, standard day for me.
I just found out an ex now works at hooters

It's not that I like shoulder charges being banned. I don't. In an ideal world they would be allowed. But I'm smart enough to see the bigger picture and I don't want a sport I love to collapse under the weight of lawsuits that will happen if it isn't banned.

That's why I wish the AFL would follow the NRLs lead and ban them too.

In other news, my friends are trying to talk me into applying for Beauty and the Geek. Being trapped in a house full of beautiful (mostly) women and a bunch of massive geeks that make me look like an expert in women by comparison sounds fun BUT:

Too scary, so I won't.

No, you're dumb enough to invent a bigger picture.

My friend suggested the same for me. I'm not really geeky though so I don't see how it would apply. I just don't socialize a lot so they see me that way I guess.

Either day, I'd never do it.

Many Lawyers and Doctors, Lawyers and Doctors who know a lot more about the medical risks to players and the legal risks to the NRL, think there is a bigger picture. I choose to believe in their advice.

When I'm not drunk women terrify and/or confuse me. So in that sense I fit into the geek thing. But I'm not some kind of computer genius or something. But from what I've heard the producers after they've found the right people just get you to exaggerate parts of your personality if necessary. If you like video games, you'll be turned into the resident video game geek, same with science or IT or whatever else.

Part of me would like to get on the show for the experience. But being on TV is way too scary.

Plus it's a vapid trashy show that thrives on the humiliation of the contestants.
