Cardiac rehab entails 6 weeks of tuesday and thursday afternoons in a gym with a qualified cardiac car nurse and a specialised physical trainer, then a further 6 months of free use of the gym any afternoons I want. Seems to be a very proffessional setup.

I think you will find the 6 weeks of rehab sessions to be very easy. There will be a lot of older folks there, so it is quite low impact (and many will have had grafts, thus recently broken sternums....not pleasant).

The further 6 months of free use is a real score though....I really wish we had been given that opportunity.

Yes the 6 months is a real score I was planning on getting a gym membership but having a cardiac qualified nurse and specialised trainer in attendance at all times is a big confidence booster.
