It was kept going by a string of Souths supporters who couldn't help but try and fruitlessly fight back. It's one of the golden rules of the internet: trolling only works when someone bites. It's the same with that wanker RP: his inane, repetitive anti-Saints drivel would have ceased long ago if not for Saints fans (myself included) continually biting. Ditto with all the choke threads.

I guess it's also a testament to how deeply emotional the connection to our football team is for most of us. We just can't sit back while some dickhead rips shit out of our beloved team. And I've been both the dickhead winding others up and the fearless defender of my club's honour, so I know what I'm talking about. :p

I agree with Pete about Souffs, it got old for me a while ago.
