I've only been to a few but I typically like music that is in a different era and/or just never seem to tour here.

I've seen Pearl Jam twice, Eddie Vedder solo, Gorillaz (awesome) and Stone Temple Pilots (kind of got dragged along, didn't like it much at all).

Can't complain I guess, 2 bands that are in my top 5. There are some I'll never get to see now though. :( I'll have to make do with DVDs.

Can't see BM's quoted posts on my laptop, but I would hazard a guess that he's the idiot that thinks that this plan packaging thing will be effective?
And anyone who thinks plain packaging won't make a difference are obviously not as smart as the worldwide tobacco companies themselves, who fought against this tooth and nail for a reason... As has been said before, if it even stops just two people from taking up smoking now for whatever reason, then for every two of those types of people who get together that's a couple of future kids that then won't going to fall into the category of being 65% more likely to take it up either, and so it continues on.

f**king top move imo, smoking is a crap thing, taken up by crap people (including me, when I did it for three months once upon a time). I'm with Timmah, keep it legal but tax the crap out of it until people come to their senses.

Yeah, me and the good lady were at that Simon & Garfunkel concert. It was a magic event.
I loved all the green neon bracelets and headbands and things - never seen anything like that up until then. Magic gig, but my dad is still dirty they didn't play I Am A Rock....

I saw TISM at this dance festival called Earthcore which was based in country Victoria, near Shepparton I think. Drove down from Canberra and got booked for speeding on the way.

Why mate ?...

Just got sick of it. Also sick of explaining to the new allocator (who has been in the job for a few months) how I want my run set out and him screwing it up. The way he had my load today I had 1 drop in Bathurst, out to orange for 1 drop, back to blayney for 1, then Bathurst again for 1, back to orange for 2 more then Oberon.

Also sick of busting my arse off and barely seeing the family all week. I was home more often doing my 2 trips to Melbourne a week and a day local then what I am atm.

Don't be too hasty mate....

It's been coming for a few weeks. This morning was just the last straw.

I was planning to wait until I had another job lined up but I couldn't get the time for interviews and shit. Hell I couldn't even take a day off last week when my wife was bed ridden from sickness. Was just lucky her mom could take a sickie to look after the kids.

Nice, love that old footage from the Led Zep DVD - you can see a limo at about 3m15s of this.

Cheers Bartman, I was right up the front in front of John Paul Jones for the entire gig, Had a good look and slowed it down but cant see myself.

We were behind the fence and the band was about 40 metres away. They started playing their first song, The Immigrant Song, and everyone climbed over the fence and charged up towards the stage. 20,000 people against about 12 security guards.

We won, lol.

Mumford and Sons... amazing. Loved it.

Added some more bands to my earlier post... forgot about 93 and the World's biggest BBQ with Meat Loaf, Steve Miller Band etc.

Also went to Crowded House in 2010 and Meat Loaf 2011, both in Wollongong, plus Homebake in 09.
