Go live in England then. I don't have one drop of British blood in me and I am glad we have our own National Anthem to sing instead of some Imperial, person worshiping song.
It's got nothing to do with "British blood".

Look at the man who won the 10,000m for GB. He didn't look very stereotypically "British" but the whole nation stood and cheered as he won. All 4 of the countries I mentioned are multicultural and multiethnic, it has nothing to do with any sort of "blood".
Good to see you're a f**kwit with no knowledge of history now too.

GSTQ was our anthem until 1984 you imbecile. It will never be the Australian National Anthem again.
1. I never said it was NEVER our anthem. I said I wish it was our anthem now. I made no reference, one way or the other, to history.
2. I never said it will be our anthem. I said I wanted it to be.

So you call me names and make two arguments that don't contradict any of what I said.

I didn't refer to history or the future, I was talking about my personal opinion.
Bloody hell BunniesMan. New Zealand and Australia jumping into bed makes some sort of sense. What you're suggesting makes none.
In this day of super fast broadband and plane travel there is no reason why a Greater United Kingdom couldn't work if people put aside silly rivalries and misguided and petty notions of "independence".

Britain is sliding fast to irrelevance, in terms of the whole world the other 3 countries I mentioned are irrelevant.

Combined, and with each nation of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand being on equal terms, we'd be a real world power. With a population of over 100 million wealthy people we'd be more important than any European country and up there as 2nd tier world powers in the 21st century behind only China and the US.

With the increased power we'd have a better chance of shaping the world for the better than we do now as 4 smaller countries.

Yeah and hopefully we would take on their economic and social policies so we can end up without the best social security system on earth, and not have free medical and have huge unemployment rates.
And worst of all drink warm beer?

With a combined country one would assume we'd bring to the table the best bits of each country.

Such as our ideal combination of public and private health insurance.

And imagine how much more money our mining sector would have if they didn't have the manpower constraints they now have if they had access to Britains unemployed.

This is the most helplessly idealistic dribble I've ever read. Won't happen, will never come close to happening, the logistics are f**king ludicrous. Stop talking about it as if it's even semi-realistic.

Baltimore says hello. The storm should pass pretty quickly...

why are you in Baltimore? My husband and I went there a few weeks ago and I fell in love with Max Tavern (I think that's the name of it)

It certainly is. Its last night Sydney time there. I'll bet some of the farmers would appreciate some of that rain.

it's been a ridiculous couple of days.. Yesterday it was stinkin hot as I was getting ready for a wedding and we walked to the car and before we even started it, it started bucketing down with torrential downpour! By the time we got out of the church it was hot and sunny again. It was weird
