When you beat us in the trials I was led to believe this was your year

I never rated us this season, even when we were in the top four. Lots of unexperience, we lost Myles, Carney, Ryles, Riddell, Linnett, Conn and all our new players were babies, was never going to be our year.

But with SBW and Maloney joining us and some of our young guns getting a season under their belt next year will be a lot better.

When the Warriors were doing well Maloney was a big part of that, the Warriors woefulness is just infectious and spreads to all their players. His only big problem is his defence, his kicks are mostly pin-point he has a good kicking passing and running game and we are in desperate need of a running half and him and SBW will combine well.

There's flaws in Maloney's game, but he has a lot of natural ability.
