So, ST.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

I saw Millencolin at the Roundhouse in 08, f**k they are a fun band. Wasn't my first gig though. First was Bad Religion at the Hordern 2007.

Ears didn't stop ringing for five days (I made a poor decision about where to stand, I was such a noob:oops:).
I was at that concert, was awesome, brilliant band.

My first (well apart from the Wiggles as a 3-4 year old) would've been Homebake 2000, when I was 11. Frenzal Rhomb, The Lving End in their prime, Jebediah, Spiderbait (who were terrible from memory) and numerous others. Good day. Been to many since.

I saw Frenzal when i was really young too. Came home with the bass players hat. I smelled like pot and had world's f**kedest merkin on it. My mother was not impressed.

Haha. First time I saw the Rhomb at homebake they were all wearing Newtown jerseys, and they used government grant money to make piniata's of the harbour bridge and got audience members on stage to whack the crap out of them.

Actually seeing At the Drive-In recently was a bit sad in a way, as that is just about every band I really like (that is realistic to see) has been seen. Only others I can think of are Madness (who I missedin 09 cos i stupidly had a Rise Against ticket that week) and maybe Rancid, but even then im not a huge fan of them. Other bands have been broken up for years (TISM) or generally have a lot of dead members (Beatles, Clash).

Actually keen to see Gaslight Anthem, but they'll be out next year.

Frist gig? Crowded House farewell gig at the Opera House back in the mid 90's.

Which made it confusing when I went to Wollongong to see them as part of the 2010 tour...
