Apparently Paul Roos told them that they had a point to prove in the final quarter and they certainly did

I thought they were home at 3/4 time, shows how far class can take you.

Indeed it does...

The Lions have it in spades... Its the breakfast of champions.

Sydney lack it (for now, at least), as do the Pies, although we may have to reconsider this if they get up on Saturday.

For once, i agree Meltiger!

Sydney are really missing a gun player, someone like a Hird, Voss, Buckley, McLeod, Cousins, Graham etc.

They play well as a team unit, and have to be commended on how far they made it this season, considering how poor a list they have. But without that gun player, they are never going to win a flag.

Sydney have an excellent list - it's just they're all about 20.

Give them three or four years... Goodes is only 23, he has another 10 years of footy in him and can only get better.

Lewis Roberts-Thompson is still growing (and learning how to play the game) he will be a gun in about 4-5 years when he's actually grown some muscle.

Here's a tip, Sean Dempster will be a gun. He only played ressies this year, but he is genuinely good and will make it.

Maybe an old stalwart like a Paul Kelly is needed, but hey. They shouldn't go too badly next year at all.
