It wasn’t pretty. Went down to the end so to speak. I’m happy with he two points but not so much with the performance. Move on I guess, it was a must win game and we achieved that I guess.

Did you listen to the presser.

Unless the NRL come in and pay for a charter, the origin boys will NOT back up in New Zealand.

No I didn't watch the presser.

Reps aren't selected? So be it. Already said what I thought before. If they don't choose players it's per the course.

I'll still wait until teams are announced.

After watching the game today it is painfully clear to me that Mick Kenny isn’t a hookers arsehole, his service was great last year but it’s absolutely rubbish this year

Yeah defensively hes very good.. he firms up the middle..

But henry does that to with more punch and upside..

We cant carry both henry and smith..we need to pick one asap and let one go..

I think wed clear up more money letting smith go and with mal coach of the bears, smith would probs walk in over there..
Why do we need to let one go?

I thought the same. I was cursing the ref for allowing Wests to lay on our players with no penalties then penalise us for the same thing. Very one sided. Do the West's ref payments come under the salary cap?
I’m not sure it is some nefarious plot, but you can’t expect to get anything from the officials when you are four-time defending premiers!!

The Warriors are tough as. Like Penrith early in our reign. We will do well to keep them below 40 with five players missing. They destroyed Cronulla and they were at home and at full strength.
Cronulla? Much overrated at this time of the season again. Hence why not a single one of them is considered for origin. How's Fonua-Blake going? Not the saviour they were looking for in reality.

From all reports Ivan is going to rest the origin lads for the Warriors game but if we win origin and they are healthy, I reckon they might want to play.

I was happy to see the reslilence coming back into the squad.

I am baffled with the WT comments on the rf. Yeah, maybe a couple of calls didn't go their way late, but if there was fair officiating in the 1st half, we would have been up by 3 or 4 tries I think. It seems if we blinked we got pinged, but I felt they were leaving early, had 2nd efforts/regrips in the ruck and hung around for that split second longer than we did, but ref did nothing.

How do you think we would go if we gave Ice the start instead of Smith? Patea could still give us good impact of the bench, but I recon Ice with a re-invigorated Moses could help us get off to a better start?

If we held them to 10 after getting to 18 and maybe scored one more it wouldve been a good win, as it turned out we won on goal kicking and penalty goals which is ok, 2 points is 2 points.

Discipline remains an issue, experienced players just not up to standard in that area.

Shout out Milky, a train and trial contract and he played like a star yesterday, hattrck, linebreaks, catching bombs. He looked dangerous all round yesterday.

Oh we are out of the bottom 4.

And the Tigers descent back down to their rightful position starts now. That Galvin thing really screwed any hope they had of a better finish in 2025.

We can wear this can't we?

One of our former senior players reads our game. Sure. He does that at least. Otherwise he didn't get it done.

Win for us. I'm we'll contented.

Of course we can we wear it, what i was saying is after the 2nd time its probably something we can adjust to and even use in our favour.

TBH that's cheap talk.

It was a gritty ugly win. Footy seasons can be built on such wins.

I dont get that tbh Alice. Firstly i was just saying we gotta win so im not sure what you are arguing with and i dont what makes it cheap talk but imo that was a must win game. We got it done but there was nothing that gritty about it. We scored the same amount of tries as our opposition when we were almost at full strength while the tigers were missing a number of players from their middle.

It was average win at best. Im happy but jeez some of you try and make out like everything we do is somehow harder than every other team or somehow special, we played ok at best and won yesterday.

so defending our goal line for the last 10 minutes with numerous try saving tackles......wasn't gritty then......

i didn't say we played brilliantly. but we played well enough to overcome being well behind in penalties till they were sort of even up at the end. same with possession only having 43% in the first half.

i call that a gritty good win.

First of all we didnt even defend it we cracked quite easily to allow that last try, I think we showed a little more resolve defensively overall but i also dont think west through much at us and I also think our discipline was the main reason we were under pressure, we kept doing it to ourselves which has been the story our our season. Like I said they scored as many tries as we did, Nathans boot was the difference. If you are happy with then good for you but i can tell you without doubt allowing your opponent to score as many tries as you do is not a good way to win games consistently.

last try scored at 69 minutes, so i am correct.

So it was 10 minutes of sustained pressure on our goal line with numerous try saving tackles.

with w/t getting far more possession than penrith in the last 15 mins.
