Crowd was a touch over 12,000. Makes you wonder why they played it at the SFS instead of Waratah Park which still would have held the crowd comfortably and would have been surely cheaper to hire.
Randwick won 35-22, but it was 28-22 with 30 seconds to go and the Woodies never looked out of it. The crucial point was when Tim Donnelly was yellow carded with about 14 to go, Eastwood were on the attack at the time and lost all direction without him.
Well deserved by Randwick, went through 1st grade undefeated, and won 1sts, Reserves and 3rds.
