Well done Jason Smith and Brian Goorjian - whinge enough and they'll change the refs. It's called home court advantage and the Kings had plenty of it in game 1. I'd be more worried about combatting the likes of Stiff, Thomas and Anstey than the refs....
Game could virtually go either way tonight (fence sitter i know) with the fact that the kings have everything to play for and will be desperate. Tigers have only one game to win and they know if they lose they will be going back to melbourne for game 4.
Although. the Tigers have not shrunk in the past 2 days and still have a distinct height advantage and should still be able to dominate the rebounds. Anstey has to be able to stay out of foul trouble and the Tigers have to overcome the Kings full court defence.
Kings hae an injured sheridan and a hobbled CJ so it could hamper them somewhat.
Tigers by 6 tonight.
It's great to see the Sydney Whinge lose..Goorjian and Smith are A Grade tossers..Melbourne were far superior and if it wasn't for 2 or 3 hundred no-calls tonight, Sydney would have been flogged...Coaching-wise, Goorjian was abysmal...A full court press for 2/3 rds of the game on a 3 guard rotation ? Weird ?
I can't complain about that tonight.
Well done to the Tigers for the sweep first of all.
The Kings need to do a mini re build.
Since CJ is going and Webber is very likely to go, get an imported PG and Rolan to take Webbers place. Ill think of some other team changes I would do later.
It was a good series even though it was a sweep.
No blowouts and either team had a chance to win in the final minutes.
Tigers height just too big a factor in this series
