hate the roosters, was desperately hoping to be able to justify a try there, but i couldnt, it was a clear knock on

I think a lot of that starts with the commentary team. They're rooting for the most interesting narrative regardless of what's correct and a lot of fans will just follow suit.
lovin' the butthurt from the queenslanderps
Knock on everyday, some of you would like to ignore the knock on by Melbourne last week as well just so you get the big moment.
Cowboys were all set to cry conspiracy regardless of the result and they did the same thing the last two years because they are sore losers.
If Lui does the same thing when they are down by 30 then the refs let it go, but if it's to win the game then it needs 40 replays from angles that show shit all only to go back to the original call
From the moment that ball got to Bromwich's hand it never went anywhere but backward, was knocked out by the dogs player and project back to Bromwich chest. There was no evidence at all that could lead to it being overturned but it was.
The call tonite was all up to the on field ref, it would not have been overturned if it were called a try, the result was very much in the spirit of the changes to video ref system (refs call first, no more benifit of the doubt) with the on field ref being the decider when there is too much doubt from the video.
About the SBW penalty, I thought Linnett's left hand knocked the ball and Linnett himself didn't blow up about the call, stood up looking guilty as f**k and pretending he didn't see the ball on the ground.
Mmm. We saw a grand total of one replay in which vision of Linnett's hand was obstructed by SBW's hand and the ball.About the SBW penalty, I thought Linnett's left hand knocked the ball and Linnett himself didn't blow up about the call, stood up looking guilty as f**k and pretending he didn't see the ball on the ground.
