A reserve day is surely better than nothing. If that's washed out too then so be it, at least the effort has been made.

Already plenty of articles about how it is a disgrace there is no reserve day and the hosts may be bundled out due to rain etc.

There should be a reserve day for the final, not sure about semis though. playing them at different venues is probably a good idea though.

At the end of the day, If the game does get washed out, the Aussies have no one to blame but themselves. If they performed against India it's a non issue.

If they get the game going at all they might as well just make it a 10 overs a side game now. Kind of suck if we got 20 overs in for one innings and 5 overs into the second then it starts bucketing down again and that's that.

Not a bad point, hadn't looked at it that way...

The radar is clearing across the metro area right now but there's another big band of rain on its way through Putty which looks like sweeping through the metro region in the next hour or so... I don't see how they'll be able to get the ground in a playable state and then squeeze in enough cricket before the rain comes again to constitute a game...
