Table Tennis

I will be 74 on Friday and play Table Tennis four times a week. It keeps me fit active meeting people and helps my brain power/memory (I think!!)

Well this thread had a good opening serve but someone leaned on the table wrecking the game.

Looking at TT as an activity / hobby sport as a mid 50's bloke.

Good for coordination, balance and some aerobic exercise. Can be played all year round as well and not impacted by weather.

Bit of research shows that it is a game many play well into their 70's with their being a (Qld) State Championships age category of Over 70's (or U/ 75 ?). Also pretty much equality in ability between the genders.


The governing bodies could possibly find some ways to better promote it as a sport / activity.
