Yes, origin selections are the best indicator of how good players are because clearly King was one of the best props running round this year. Plenty of nuffies get selected for origin; NSW had Soward, Ennis and Pearce making up the bulk of their spine.

Soward also had a awesome game in origin.

Based on the logic that origin representation was a good indicator, you would have to assume Slater, Dugan, Hayne and Gidley are all better fullbacks than Brett Stewart.
