Raiders whingeing offcourse. Furner taking some heat ofrf his terrible coaching.
Terry Campese having a sook but i'm pretty sure no player had a hand on him when he dropped the ball with 5 to go.

Play hard or take your ball and f**k off home you sooks

Typical, grubby behaviour from Melbourne. This should surprise no one.

Typical, grubby nuffballs trying their best to defend them. This should surprise no one.

Its not the wrestling that bothers me its the amount of forward passes Cameron Smith gets away with. I feel like I have developed tumour on the occipital lobe whenever I watch him play because to me he is forward passing all the time but the refs just let it go. Not just for Melbourne mind but whenever he plays.

This is so easy to fix. Just penalise any non-trivial contact with the head or neck of an opponent. That would cover this shit, most of the grappling, and crap like hands in the face or using the tackled player's head by the tackler to lever themselves off the ground.

While I'm at it, I'd also like them to penalise as too slow to get off the tackled player any time the tackler looks around to check if the defence is set - if they have time to look they had time to get up off the tackled player.

Yes very jealous of Melbourne being the scummiest club in the history of the NRL and having all their premierships stripped away because they were run by a bunch of incompetent criminals. I get enough incompetent management at my own club thank you very much.

EDIT

Obviously the 99 premiership still stands.

I dont think its a conspiracy but I think he is a very intelligent player and he can work out how much he can get away with in a game more than most.

Also don't get me wrong trying to trick the idiot referee is a part of professional sport. He is doing what he needs to win the match. It isn't his fault if the forward passes arent being called or his general nigglyness. He wins Melbourne a lot of games. If I was building an NRL team from scratch he would be the first player I would pick but its just a bit annoying seeing how dumb the refs are every week.

Dont they go over it in meetings.

Has anyone read this article....is Furner fair dinkum...

Melbourne Storm has been accused by the Canberra Raiders of targeting its players' chins in the weekend's round one clash.
The Raiders have reportedly asked the NRL to review footage where Storm players appear to be pushing Raiders players' chins sidewards during a tackle.
Canberra coach David Furner is thought to have identified six instances where Storm defenders made questionable tackles.
The practice is known as "chin-strapping" and makes it painful for an opposing player to keep moving forward.
''My concern is the players and it's got to do with the head and the chin,'' Furner told the Canberra Times.
''They're pulling the chin across with their hands. I could see they were slowing us down by using this technique.''

So in a game where Melbourne defended 42 sets and made 382 tackles, he identified six where the technique was used and these six tackles slowed the Raiders down, I mean, he could see it right.... Now, I am not sure about this but really, if they have only executed a tackle they have practiced over and over in the off season six times in a game, then that is an outrage and needs investigation....or is it reasonable to think that in any game of rugby league you might see this kind of contact six times a game.

It is obvious there are alot of people on this post who are purely having a laugh.
