Not sure about this ….
I get that we want to have a team of rep players, but can we do that after we win a comp or go close.

burn out/overload.

Talakai also ticks other criteria boxes including being born in NSW; lived in NSW since before his 13th birthday; played the bulk of his Rugby League in NSW from the ages of Under 6s to Under 18s; spent the majority of his school years in NSW; and first played Junior Representatives in NSW.

How weird is it that he rips up manly (who are shit btw) and cos the NSW coach is on the sideline watching and gets asked about him all of a sudden he is a certainty.

I’d be weary if I was Freddy.

Manly won 4 in a row prior to that performance.
He also played excellent against the Storm , carved up the Tigers as well. He’s a weapon. He’s improving at an exponential rate. Let’s see how he is in a few weeks time.

Weird how many people in here just love shitting on players finding success.

Fitzy should bench him a few rounds before origin just to quell the hype. Just make up an excuse like 'rotation policy'.

He also schooled Dane Gagai as well.

If that was directed at me I wasn’t shitting on him at all. The tigers are just as shit. Origin is different and the media and everyone else wants to talk him up when a bit of reality might just keep him grounded enough to succeed if he is picked.

He is perfect bench player for origin, it allows the bench to have someone like Nicho or Paps on bench as Talakai can cover, every forward position bar hooker and centre

I don't either. The special people have spoken

Cleary, Luai reveal preferred Mitchell Origin replacement

Yup, the flashier players will always get the nod for the big spectacle.
Our little no frills bulldozer has outplayed them all but he isn't as shiny or sparkly as the others mentioned.
Will be interesting to see how he reacts if he doesn't get picked. Feel for the poor bastard that has to mark him that week.
