His knee is no good at all.

He is not even running. Apparently the surgery in the UK was a bit of a botch job.

His career is definitely at the crossroads as he may need to go under the knife one more time, however this is unfortunately not his fault.

Forget about him on the wing, Sheens said he will play prop when he's fit.

Once again moving players out of position to cover for poor recruitment.

That woudl suggest to me Tupou's knee was always bad and will always remain bad but hoepfully less bad than before :)

Teflon is trying to make Tupou into a front rower as he is strong and still pretty mobile and reasonably fast if his knee can recover but he will never be capable of taking the stress and strain on his knee a wingers role would place on it. Maybe that will end up Tuiaki's fate with his ankle too if things remain dodgy.

Makes me wonder though- what about the stresses and strains on a knee being a prop and fronting the scrums? Maybe a different type of stress / strain??? Dunno- wonder if anybody with specialist knowledge would be able to answer tthat one?

IMHO - scrums = no stress...when do they push??

Props do alot more work than wingers and tend to get involved in more 3/4 in tackles so would create more stress on the knee... but in any case either your fit to play or your not.

In saying that the guy would be a great 2nd rower.....
