News Taylan May assault charge

The guy was pretty clearly trying to leave the area. The only reason he was stopped is because big bad fake tough guy Nathan Cleary blocked him from doing so.

If Cleary wasn’t such a f**king wanker, none of this would have happened.

Nathan should've gone all Jack Wighton on the little smart arse and belted him while he was trying to walk away.

Mate, I don’t think that’s the point people are trying to make. Its that his suspension has been delayed until next year when it won’t hurt as much. It sets a new precedent and you can bet your left one that they will be inconsistent with it too.

The game has always suspended players immediately if they embarrassed the game. Radley got involved in a tussel in Byron. No criminal conviction but copped a couple of weeks, didn’t he? Would’ve been handy for Easts if Pearce served his suspension at the end of the year as well in 2016.

The suspension being held off isn't a good look but there have been many rubbery suspensions

The ASADA stuff people mentioned.

Rapana last year was suspended for off field stuff, Allowed to play All Stars. Got a further suspension and was able to serve those 2 suspensions concurrently.

Brandon Smith, Reece Walsh and Latrell could use the All stars game as 1 game off their suspension. Yet Rapana could play in it?

Shouldn't all of been suspended from it or not used the game to count?

Milford was effectively given a 10 week suspension for throwing a bin, and was forced to sit out until he completed education. Why does May not have to do the same?
