Just so no one misinterprets this, you think grabbing someone from behind in a three in 1 situation is sweet, and would have also been ok with May throwing a punch from behind?

You also have full knowledge of the facts, and have viewed all CCTV presented in court?

No conviction recorded, Would tell you it is on the minor scale of offences

It’s QLD. You get no conviction recorded for pretty much any first offence where you’re not killing someone.

If the harassment was so serious the provocation argument would have been successful, Magistrates love an Excuse to dismiss charges.

Don’t get me wrong, drunk tossers harrassing people are far from victims in my eyes. I also hate any wanker who brings out the mobile phone to record a reaction etc (same sort of wankers who provoke police then bring out the camera to record the response). BUT a professional footballer should know better than to react.

should be suspended for one game if playing against the Sharks, otherwise he should be free to play on. Seems fair.

They should but he was 21, 1st offence and with no offence recorded. Not sure the NRL can do anything

He wasn't a professional at the time. Just a reserve grader hanging out with his brother and mates.

But the May boys definitely aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Hopefully Taylan learns actions have consequences though. Tyrone didnt.

Taylan's "I apologise to the victim for the distress it may have caused" was the most contrived, insincere apology I have ever seen.

Just as I thought, trash.
