Why's that? Because a 6ft, 95kg bloke with a couple of mates needs some assistance from the blindside against a 5ft7 unathletic pudgy bloke?

I'm starting to agree with Ricky on his views of Panthers players

Tyrone on Good Behaviour bond
Kikau would of killed him if he hit him
Cleary isn't going to do shit

If it wasn't an NRL player you wouldn't hear of this, 1000 of these would happen every weekend

We are talking a guy who is 20 at the time. So of course will do dumb things

So if Kikau who was standing in front of him, Hit him that is better?

We don't know how long he was being a pest for, Nor know what him filmed so it is hard to comment on the force used.

The NRL was told of it, Found no suspension was needed

It went to court, The pub backed up the chain of events and no conviction recorded. No sure the NRL will do anything to it now
TLDR - I'm guessing PENRITH?

What about all the knobs on here claiming he got off because he plays for Penrith..😂 Just a quick note, it was a judge who ruled not the judiciary.

You're as silly as the judge.
You mean the judge who had the time to consider the arguments and had more than a 45 second clip to base his/her judgement on?

I think everyone is lucky someone didn’t get more hurt and if May was stood down that would be consistent with what has happened elsewhere. Given that, some of the comments above from my fellow Penrith supporters look foolish; but you’ve outdone all of them by some margin in 6 words.

Pardon me, your Panthers bias is showing.

If I'm filming someone without their permission, and then refuse to delete the footage when confronted by that person, I'd expect things to get physical. People need to learn to be accountable for their actions.
Filming someone in a public place is legal. You may not like it (I certainly don't) but there it is.
being a rude merkin and not agreeing to delete footage when you're asked is legal. You may not like it but there it is.
Scragging said merkin is not legal. You may not like it but there it is.

If it was you or me Snickers who did that, we would have a conviction and community service at least.

Oh good, any time I see a ch7 or 9 cameraman filming for the news, you reckon I can punch him. That merkin should learn to be accountable for filming people without their permission.

Or I could just not be a piece of shit and get over it like most people.

Rickys got players who have done much worse than that to people.

Dont get me wrong here it was stupid for May to do that and he will deserve what he gets but fmd the need for some of you to be outraged over something that barely qualifies as an assault is pretty sad, he pulled the guy to the ground that would happen a million times a week in pubs, footy fields and school play grounds,. "Hope he sues" jesus we are lucky every muppet who gets pulled or pushed over doesnt waste time pressing charges and then suing, like how much do you think the physical and mental damage from being pulled to the ground is worth? He already got a thousand out of him and most would consider that lucky.

It doesn't appear anyone here is outraged about what happened. People are calling out scumbag Penrith fans for defending a scumbag just because he plays for their team.

Looking at the video. Dude tried to move away, Cleary blocked him. May, who wasn’t involved, attacked him from behind like a coward.

6 games minimum. And 2 for Cleary for threatening behaviour.

No conviction recorded! Must have been the worst assault ever …….. not!
He received the massive sentence of a $1000 fine and $1000 compensation. It would have cost the ‘victim’ more to take it to court.
The NRL has already looked at it and took no action. The outrage here is laughable.

He grabbed a bloke from behind and threw him to the ground, narrowly missing smashing his head on concrete by sheer luck.

It was completely unprovoked.

The sentence was ridiculously light. The NRL must act.
