What about Ronald Prince?

Anyone think he will get a solid stint in 1sts with Ash out for the first half of the season?

What was the go with him at the 7's, what type of injury did he get and how bad?

He damaged the ligaments in his ankle. At this stage he won't miss the start of the season but he won't play the trials from what I have heard.

This O'Dwyer kid, is he big and physical?

im pretty sure that the Luke O'Dwyer guy you have been wondering about is the blonde player here with Stapelton and some kid. This photo is from the official site's reel from the mounties fan day, and there was another couple of photos of him on there....

Good looking team for a trail has a few big names, some new signings and a couple of youngsters.

the redhead in that photo is Craig Stapleton.

Good side except Wags at five/eighth.

Can't see Burt, Grothe, Lyon, Vaealiki and the Kat seeing much good ball.
Unless they take plenty of hit-ups. ;-)

Hopefully Stormin' Thorman gets on the field after ten minutes and we should see the backline set in action then.

Better still, why wait ten minutes. Let him start.
Wags can slice oranges or something. ;-)

Are you sure that is Luke O'Dwyer, he looks like he is built like a back or half, not a forward.

Good to see Stapleton get a run early up, i have big wraps on this bloke....very big & strong with good ball skills & step....i reckon he could be close to Parra's buy of the year.

He never had the chance to grab a spot at Saints due to Ryles & Bailey...but i believe he will be a great buy along with Junior Langi.

Yeah..........I gotta agree with RJ, not many people have mentioned them but I like Stapleton and Peek in the front row.

Perhaps that guy in your avatar might also have something to say about that.

#-o Wags at five eighth... I thought we'd seen the last of that! Please let this just be a one-off BS?

Rest of the side looks like a good trial team. Looking forward to others getting a go against Warriors, and then a close to full strength team for the Tigers trial.

Seems like we have saved alot of our firepower for the clash with the Warriors. Players such as Cannings, Pearson, Armit, Tsoulos, Muckert, Muspratt and Widders will feature in the Warriors game. It's a good move, test our big guys against one of the most physical sides in the comp.

Yeah I don't understand this selection either. I've always thought of the trials as a chance to try new things, see if they work or not. Wags at 6 simply doesn't work and it isn't even an attempt at breaking any new ground.

Hmmm might be just the top, but from that pic seems Stapleton is carrying a bit of extra conditioning
