i don't think tahu will miss any games through suspension - he will get a low grading for the first one and with an early plea not have enough points to miss a game ..... but hopefully someone can talk/knock some sense into him before next Saturday - if he's gonna vent his anger like that the rest of the year he may as well piss off and go on an early end of season trip cos he won't be any good to us


I couldn't be bothered naming a team but my thoughts are ...

- Humble either needs to play 5/8 or fullback or not play at all ... I don't see him as an off the bench utility
- Mitchell MUST get a run ... we MUST find out if he can offer our team something creative now
- Tahu needs to pull his head in or not play
- I hope like hell Grothe can recover - we have missed his work rate (but I have doubts with such a short turn around)
- hopefully Ben Smith will be back ... oake did ok tonight, but ben is our defensive starch and we need him
- I'm thinking Poore maybe deserves a start with Fui off the bench

If he's not suspended (and IMO the McManus shot was a two weeker) I'd give Tahu a game on the sidelines to grow up if I was coach...that was juvenile thuggery tonight, very disappointing.

But surely Daniel Mortimer has to start showing that he has some Idea. I love the kids tough attitude but he's got to show something in the way of skill and talent and leading the team around the field.

You really dont want to go there.

Kris Keating doesn't hold a candle to some of the finest merchants of mediocrity that have blessed the NRL with their presence.

Hell even looking at this years crop you have some gems like Bani and McCrone.

He's not an organiser but he seems very level headed, and maybe that's the best we can hope for at the moment. Mortimer especially doesn't seem to have that ability to calmly evaluate a situation at the moment, and maybe giving Humble a shot at 6 will give us a guy who can at least look at a game like tonights and say "ok, simple stuff guys, hold the ball and play it in their half" rather than throwing it around like it's the dryest game they've ever played.
