Yes, I said this a few weeks back and others have confirmed. He is definitely not Parra fit yet.

'Parra fit' what exactly is Parra fit? Are we some super side who has this secret recipe that gets players far fitter then any other club. Why we have some much success?
Some guys just don't have as big an engine.

It took Bryce a long time to get Parra fit.

Well mate considering that maybe 2 or 3 out of 100 Jnr reps get to play NRL and maybe only 20% of those get to play 50 games, there must be a lot of coaches who are at fault by your reckoning.

Or maybe it's up to individual ability and application ?

I think you'd have to make more than 8 interchanges under your scenario of minutes. You've basically got 6 interchanges just from Paula, RCG and Hopgood

I think 6 interchanges does the lot.
2 for Paulo/Greig
2 for RCG/Maka
2 for Hopgood/Doorey

Matto and Bryce play 80 and 2 left for injury cover.

I'd imagine when hit a top 30 contract they'd be under more scrutiny. Over at Penrith a talented kid got pulled from his development contract. Wasn't putting in enough. They set examples and culture.

So your are suggesting we say aslong as in the top 30 it's up to you, we won't hold you accountable.

As I said. We knew we where going to be short forward this season. Last year we had many games that where easy to carry a guy like Greig on bench. And games that he could of played big minutes and rested Jnr and RCG. It is called forward planning.

Doorey has a few try assists which were impressive.

I think Cartwright playing 80mins last week gives him a good chance of being called upon to do so again this week - given Matterson will be underdone (and maybe play less than his customary 80mins) and there were injury questions over Doorey?

Lets please have Russell and Dunster in, and Waqa Blake out of the list all together this week... time to try a fix for what has become an obvious problem (which will be targeted mercilessly by any decent opposition coach. But if Arthur doesn't want the headlines, then hopefully that's a change that becomes reality as the squad is trimmed to 19.

And as for bench cover for Hodson and Hopgood to play reduced minutes... given Jake has been named in the extended squad each week (compared to Rein only once) and has been retained as 18th man, then I think we'll see him again named in the #18 - but included in the 17 on game day (to avoid days of headlines)?

Every game felt like we were just a brain snap or defensive lapse from being suddenly behind on the scoreboard.

That's why I reckon 20 mins with half time in the middle.
Let the f**ker rip in for 10 each side of halftime and see how he goes.

He did 53 mins in the 2s last game. Numbers seem ok. Hopefully he gets a decent run on Thursday night.
