Will Smith was on the bench. He would not have knocked on 4 times from dummy half. But the greatest of players but had a running game, had done dummy half before. It was just a dumb dumb move which cost us a chance at the title. Now he’s favouring his son on the bench.

Is Jake the reason we are losing when he is there off the bench probably not.

But its not like he is making a difference positively out there either. We are carrying a half that just struggles to create anything around him or for himself.

Watching him play is like a person stuttering through a job interview before finally getting his words out the time has elapsed.

Jake has played 395 mins in FG this year for 2 x Try Assists, 1 x Line Break Assists, 4 x Forced line drop outs.

366 of those of mins this season are playing in the halves.

So on average this year he has a Try Assist every 183 mins so what's that 2 and quarter games per try assist.

And remember the 2 try assists came within 10 mins against a shit Manly side.

Hasn't made a line break and only had 1 LBA in 2 years of first grade going off the fox sports stats last year.

Lol, yes it was because Ray Stone didn't play hooker in those other matches that they scored more points.

The week before we had 20 points put on us with Stone at hooker against Newcastle. The previous game against Newcastle when Stone didn't play hooker they only scored 4 against us.

Ba cost us a semi final win when he went with stone at 9. He’s another Brain fart away from costing us a huge game.

Just went and watched the last 15 or so, wanted to see the poor pass from JA.

JA actually did a pretty decent job at dummy half, his passing was decent and his was defence ok.

Potentially could be better defensively then Mahoney due to his size. Only a small example but reckon he went good enough to get more game time there. He could be a long term option there and may be the plan next year. Definitely gives reasons why he is being included. Go back and watch…..

Anyhow that poor pass, wasn’t a poor pass, it was a good pass, but Moses was being a lazy merkin and didn’t push up into our attack shape. We had the decoy runner then JA had the option of Matterson or Moses. If Moses pushes up, the pass actually gives some space…So it wasn’t JA’s fault.

yeah I recall blowing up at the time when stone was selected at 9.

in hindsight I guess it was the wrong call. We played atrociously that night, and stone was the only merkin to hold his head high. He had such a great game.

I mean it’s not like Ba has ever had these moments before. He’s never moved Gutho from fullback and played him at hooker. He’s never given Kenny E a crack there either.

BA has never gotten anything totally wrong before.
