I hung onto the BA train until Round 20, 2021.

I look back go and go wtf did it take me so long.

It took an injury riddled Roosters team whopping us 28-0 in Mackay in the QLD hub with us just missing Moses but actually looking clueless convinced me for good we were never winning a premiership under him.

It’s not ideal but Hands to halves, Drown to centre. If we’re carrying Papalii on bench it needs to be for more than emergency injury cover to outside backs.

Or maybe we carry Apa Twizzle to cover entire backline and maybe even second roe

Moving Dyl to centre is what the smart coaches do mate.

I think Ryles is obliged to name 22 blokes, so we'll see some in that 22 that we aren't too keen on... e.g. Lussick, and whatever outside backs we have left to scrounge from.

But it gets cut to 18 names on game day, so as long as there aren't too many duffers left by Sunday, it'll be fairly ok....

Hopefully Hands named at 9 straight out, with maybe Lussick in 14-18 but also Smith in 19-22 (to allow coach to decide closer to game day).

I think the wings will be Russell and Tago, assuming Simonsson isn't ready yet... or perhaps naming Simonssen just in case, with Tago as 19-22 to come into that spot later in the week.

Edge forward is a bit bare and a worry imo. I'd love to see Latu named 19-22 just as a smokey.

I agree i don't recall so much excitement in a long time heading into a season from a Parra perspective.

I get the feeling Ryles is building something special.
