Sure not getting these token wins might bring the chance of long term success into question, but anyone who apparently needs their head read can see the current squad is odds on to achieve either.

I'm not buying your pessimistic take on our second half of the year, there is no reason why we can't crack some heads and cause some damage, finishing the year with a fair reputation and decent momentum going into 25

And the point that you’re failing to comprehend is that doesn’t affect sponsors/members as much as you suggest. If the choice is made to hamstring this season to help improve next season, that can be adequately conveyed to sponsors and I think (most) members can understand it.
Do I still want to win every week and get pissed off when we don’t? Of f**ken course I do.
