Don't like Matto starting, we use 2 interchanges to for his time on the field. Would rather him start off the bench and play 60 straight. He also provides immediate impact off the bench whereas Marata mentally doesn't do well on the bench.

Think Carty is the wrong choice to drop, our bench is once again devoid of a difference of style, the 3 forwards we have on there are all too similar.

Agree. I wouldn't be against Bryce getting the first 20mins either then unleashing Papali’i and Matterson simultaneously

Ensemble Time!

JA was ok in cup last week but not good enough to displace Cartwright..

Put Perham on the bench if he needs cover for the halves..
But it’s not the coaches fault right ? He doesn’t pick the team. Who’s f**king making these decisions?

If all fit Bryce is in our 17. Imagine being the opposition in a tight game and he comes on.
As a fan of the other side you become a bit worried cause you know he is dangerous.
Makatoa or JA are NSW cup level plodders. They offer zero.

My bench this week has Bryce and one of the following

Rein, Perham, Rodwell, Elzakhem

When N.Brown is fit no brainer you bring him in for his finals experience. Even if you started Brown for the first 20 mins then no more game time you then have Marata and Matterson to inject and play out the game.

I don't think JA and Makatoa cost us anything against Brisbane. Makatoa will get Bryce's 20mins and JA won't come on unless it's a blow out.
Trying to be possitive JA did play well against Manly. Everyone sacked against Souths. But why carry a halfback on bench?

That’s the point. Why Carry a halfback on the bench? Put the kid in if there’s an injury to Mosss and Brown, that’s understandable. But go carry a slow halfback on the bench does not make any sense.

Cartwright was doing well. Showed more composure in the ball than ever before and was actually making good yards because teams didn’t know what he was going to do. Just when BA restores some sort of semblance of hope he needlessly makes a idiotic decision. This time of year you play your best team. That bench rotation bullshit doesn’t wash. His son can get game time in reserve grade

I don't think its helping his development either playing 5 mins of first grade and averaging 1-2 matches of reserve grade per month.

I don't think JA has strung 5-6 matches in a row in reggies to get rhythm and confidence before being rushed back into the bench for first grade for a 5 min stint.

He would never and will never play fg without his father as the coach.
