Yeah, you got me. No-one goes to Crushers Leagues Club. That story sounds extremely exaggerated. I don't beleive it for a minute.

Filthy I missed out on the Oscar that year.Directed by @Happy MEel
Round 23 2005 (August 12th) will always stick in my memory.
Eels v Dogs at Parra Stadium. I'd been dating a girl for a while, told her i'd take her to her first footy game. Her father was a dogs supporter but she didn't really follow footy at that time, but told me she'd go if i didn't mind her cheering for the Dogs.
I made her a deal that she could cheer for the bulldogs on the proviso that if the Eels won, we'd become "official" rather than just dating.
Eels smashed the Dogs 56-4, and 16 years we're still together.
Thanks Parra!
Was the night Piggy scored and did a little dance!
They were defending premiers too.
I was also at that game, with a Bulldogs-supporting coworker.I remember being less than ecstatic after watching his debut against us when we ended the game with arseholes that seemed superfluous.
2008, and they won the spoon. A good year. When did SBW walk out on them? Was it 2005?

I was going to mention this game.
That was our biggest win against them if I recall correctly.
Absolutely. Think there might have been some "commercial" bias in the decision not to cite him for that incident...Watched the highlights of the 2009 prelim last night. Geez Hayne was lucky not to get suspended. I think he would get a few weeks these days.
If only the same 'commercial bias' applied in the GFAbsolutely. Think there might have been some "commercial" bias in the decision not to cite him for that incident...
It was only the Dogs. Sounds fair to me.Watched the highlights of the 2009 prelim last night. Geez Hayne was lucky not to get suspended. I think he would get a few weeks these days.
