Is that a surprise? BA resurrected his career.
No it is not a surprise but he should be in the present not whatever he is doing such that he is like he's shutout by JR.

He must've be doing something untowards that is causing him not to be playing anywhere (assuming he is not injured)

They are professionals, they should do their jobs.

It's more that JR has decided on who he does'nt want in the squad. Does'nt matter if you're doing your job or not. Simple as that. Why do you think he is doing something untoward?

Normal management practice in managing out unwanted employees. Piss them off till they eventually leave.

We don't know who is doing it JR or BC.

If he had trained and played in the trials out of his skin e.g. Ryley.... I doubt JR would leave him out.

I think Reg left because he didn't buy into JR's strategy.

I don't think it would matter how he played, I don't think he's the sort of player JR wants.

Reg came close to leaving around COVID. He and his partner were very taken with Qld.

Addo Carr is yesterday's news. I think he will be up there with Foran and Watmough as one of our worst signings.
Even if it doesn't pan out he won't be near any of those two for worse signings.

Because we didn’t pay an shitload for him.

Foran was on 1.2mill a year and we got 9 games for him.

Watmough was on nearly 800k a year for 4 years and he didn't even make it to the 2nd year.

He does seem like an emotional player, it took him a long time to become a regular even with BA.

Tbh, whether JR doesn't want him or he doesn't want to be here - It's best for him to leave to England or somewhere.

Imagine coming to the club everyday, training and then not playing anywhere. It must be heartbreaking for an athlete.

Personally, I still think Bryce wants to be here - on Insta three weeks ago he put up a bunch of photos, including so many of him in Parra gear etc.

Maybe he took being demoted for Round 1 very well... an when you think about it, that makes sense. After the trials new coach selected a new recruit front rower Williams and hot-cold Kelma in front of Bryce as starting edges, and then Doorey (and you could argue 18th man Mataele) were favoured as bench options. Despite Bryce's usual edge partner Lane being injured also.

So maybe it's been a hard few weeks, and he's having a mental health week off, to come back better and battle for a spot?
