Not an obsession. Kafusi and maka have all been give a decent shot. Bryce has sat on the bench and sometimes is given a 6 minute cameo. He’s able to offer something different while the others are limited.

They are middles. Can Bryce play in the middle ?

When the squad has been down on troops, BA typically uses the 17th player as injury cover which is why they sometimes don't get a run.
That said, when he has his top 17 or close to it available, he uses the full 17 to try and maintain our power game.
Bryce's style doesn't support the power game and is really more suited to when we need to play Parraball.

And giving me his defense as an excuse is BS as the entire team has been lacking all year. Bryce can go to an edge and lane and/or papa can revert to the middle.

Anyone thought, Cartwright isn’t a project player but a depth player….we signed him for depth

Thus at this at this stage, we haven’t had to use him much as we haven’t had many injuries on the edge and there is better players in front of him (or his form hasn’t warranted longer minutes)…..cant see a good case for any player being dropped for Cartwright

So he was only in the 17 for his utility value….

And Just like if we had all our backs fit, chances are Opacic, Simonsson or Dunster along with the back we are trying to sign, wouId be in NSW cup….and these players would be on more then the minimum like Cartwright, but doesn’t mean they should be playing NRL..,

if Papa, Lane, Matterson were injured good chance Cartwright is playing 80 mins….
