I honestly can’t remember a time we were able to successfully get a charge dismissed/downgraded.

Priors don't up the grading, for mine the grading was harsh, and worthy of challenge. Remembering that priors aren't ( or aren't supposed to ) be considered on the grading, priors are for loading the punishment.
