As it is Sivo's 3rd and Subsequent Offence of that type, he faces a $3000 fine with an early guilty plea that becomes a two-match ban if found guilty at panel.

He won't be the first halfback that that has had to hide or get a buddy in the defensive line. Plenty before him have defended wider out and are absolutely weak as piss defenders. Hodgo is not Benji or Moses circa 2013 BTW.

It’s not his tackling ability (although that hasn’t been great) that’s the problem. Those players may have missed tackles/been run over, but at least they were there for the attempts. I worry that Hodgson physically can’t cover the space firstly in the line, but even more so with the way our outside defends, he certainly isn’t going to make cover. And Manly especially are going to push the ball wide against us.
As I said whatever “position” he plays, I don’t think Hodgson should be defending on an edge.

Why weaken 3 positions mate?
Leave Gutho and Russell where they are and use Carty and Matto to help Asi and Hodgo out with playmaking if needed.
