Whats the crowd prediction for Saturday - Surely this game should be sold out. Considering we pride ourselves on being the most supported Sydney Club. There should be 27-28k at a bare minimum.

Forecast is 27 and sunny on Saturday afternoon.

If we don't sellout Commbank this Saturday - round 1 - 5:30pm Saturday game with winter sport not yet starting and against the Bulldogs our arch rivals.

Then clearly something is amiss with the current membership structure. Either fans are paying memberships not to go. Or fans are fed up with the place.

Our last few seasons when having the home game the crowd has not been great..

2020 against Dogs 21k on Thursday
2021 away to Broncs 28k Friday
2022 against Titans 18k Sunday 4pm
2023 against Storm 17k on Thursday

Not fed up but I do pay for a membership and find it hard to go being 8+ hours away and will be at my second job this weekend and unable to attend anyway.

My son has my season tickets (GA) so they should get used.

Pete, what has happened to your guy we signed from Tigers? Is he injured again?
No he is still in rehab after a knee reconstruction. Poor bastard has had a horror run with injuries over the past couple of seasons. I can understand him not wanting to rush back.

His mother told me in the middle of January
Pretty much back to normal. Sees the surgeon again in 3 weeks for a return to full contact. He’s loving it and Parramatta are very professional and hands on. The surgeon is saying round 2 or 3 for him.
He hasn’t lost much speed which is a blessing! He has been in the top 3 in all the testing

Just spoke to his mum again and she said....
Training hard and about to start full contact Should be ready by end of April/start of May..

MY COMMENT
Jordy goes good. I think he'll make a good NRL player - maybe not this year, but 2025. I think 2024 will be a season of 'rehabilitation' - a season of learning and getting his body right again. He is a good style of a young bloke, and that will hold him in good stead

Hope we see him in Cup this year.

I hope BA actually interchanges the two hookers, rather than leaving Hands on the bench solely for injury cover. Would be good to see some attacking imagination in the nine position for a change.

I also feel a bit sorry for Simmo. I was looking forward to seeing him in the centres after a full preseason of training there (I bet he was, too). Now he has to start the year on the wing (where he hasn't performed particularly well in the past) thus giving Harper the inside running to take his position long-term. It's
a cruel game.

Maybe the big bluff and swaparoo will happen? BA can be very sneaky.
