Matto and Asi will be the halves. That's a given. I reckon he'll play Russell at fullback to minimise disruption (easier to replace a winger than a centre). Dunster or Waqa to come in on the wing, then we have a near full strength pack.

We'll play a simple game plan and hope we can get enough good field position to score some points. It will be a rough watch I reckon.

If Johnson is out I’d very hesitantly risk Waqa on the wing - I don’t believe any of the Warriors’s backups have that skilled of a kicking game (though I’ve never really watched Ronald Volkman play)

Dunsters career is done. He was already lacking genuine speed to his game and now after the crazy injury he had, it’s slowed him him down further. The fact he could keep up with the play several times in trying scoring positions when he first came back was the writing in the wall.

the crap Lumelume being picked over him tells me he is done.

Tbh, i wouldve dumped robson for Spencer

Guth could play 14 no probs and would be good cover for the backs

If he really wanted, pick chricton at wing for ado carr and have Will or burton or staggs at centre. If graham was available pick him

Then if a centre goes down, guth to wing, chricton to centre

Guth can then cover all other backs positions

We still have a good pack and bench. We can do this. God I love this team.

And a very serviceable replacement halves combination in Asi and Matterson. The big loss is Gutherson. It's a massive loss. But I agree, I think we can still win.

I am bamboozled that Waqa got overlooked for Lume. To me Lume is Waqa on his worse day, with his shoe laces tied together.
