Gee if BA gets us up and we win this one.

Then the pressure is well and truly gone with his position. He will be untouchable for the next 18 months and probably fair enough.

It would be his greatest coaching performance.

I’d give him a five year extension.

Anything you can put it down to KG94.

Well I was wrong re Brown... another 4 games stand-down, fmd.

So...:

1. Simonssen - or Russell
4. Blake - or Simonssen or Russell
5. Lumelume/Cini - but in reality probably Russell (if BA sticks with Waqa)
6. Matterson - in number only perhaps... like last time
7. Asi - good luck kid!

Surely we don't resurrect old man Hodgson this week to come to the rescue...?

Matto and Asi will be the halves. That's a given. I reckon he'll play Russell at fullback to minimise disruption (easier to replace a winger than a centre). Dunster or Waqa to come in on the wing, then we have a near full strength pack.

We'll play a simple game plan and hope we can get enough good field position to score some points. It will be a rough watch I reckon.

If Johnson is out I’d very hesitantly risk Waqa on the wing - I don’t believe any of the Warriors’s backups have that skilled of a kicking game (though I’ve never really watched Ronald Volkman play)

Yeah some decent points there.

Barrett has our attack flowing spectacularly we are throwing great shapes but also have players running in motion. Something we lacked previously.

Our depth has stood up as the season has come on.

Releasing Jake was a pressure release for everyone involved. I also reckon it has freed BA up as well.

We haven't lost a game since Jake left. And I reckon we wouldn't have beaten Manly if Jake was the 7 tbh.

It sounds very unlikely SJ will fly over unless his kid is born in the next day or two (I think it’s due on 13th).

Waqa was 18th man vs Dolphins. You wishing it’s Dunster or thinking BA will pick Dunster ?
